About json2py

json2py is a free collection of small, browser-based utilities for developers who work with JSON, YAML, CSV and Python data. Our goal is simple: make routine data conversion easier to understand, verify and copy into your work.

What we publish

Each tool solves one focused conversion task. Alongside the tools, we publish practical guides that explain format differences, show realistic examples and point out common mistakes. We aim to make the output useful for learners, developers debugging data and anyone preparing configuration or API examples.

How the tools work

The conversions run in your browser. Your pasted data and locally selected files are processed on your device and are not sent to a json2py server. Because browsers and data formats evolve, always validate important production data in the software that will ultimately consume it.

Editorial approach

We write our guides independently and update them when we find an explanation or example that can be clearer. We do not sell personal data. Suggestions, corrections and questions are welcome through our contact page.
