About json2py
Solo developer, creator of json2py
json2py started as a set of small scripts I kept rewriting for myself while building other projects — checking a JSON payload before debugging an API, turning a CSV export into something Python could actually use, double-checking a YAML config before deploying it. I turned those scripts into free, browser-based tools so I would not have to write them again, and published the reasoning behind each one as a guide.
Why these specific tools
Every tool here maps to something I hit while working on my own backends — mismatched null handling between JSON and Python, a CSV export with inconsistent quoting, a YAML file where one wrong indent silently dropped a config value. I write the guides from that experience, not as generic reference copy.
How it is run
json2py is a one-person project. Tools run entirely in your browser — nothing you paste is sent to a server. If something is wrong or a guide is outdated, email me directly through the contact page and I will look at it myself.
